Our two testers from SportPursuit HQ were Cara and Sam – both keen cyclists who love to head off road and discover some traffic-free trails. They put the kit to the test on varied terrain from canal paths and forest tracks to grassy trails and the occasional fast bit of tarmac. True to the spirit of gravel cycling they took this chance to explore a little further, find new routes, and enjoy the great outdoors. Here’s what they thought of the kit:

Cara: these shorts have a nice, comfortable fit with an extra high waist for coverage. It’s really useful to have plenty of pockets for stashing stuff on longer rides.
Sam: adventure-ready and really comfy, even off the bike when hiking between trails.

Mens Gravier / Womens Grava Jersey
Cara: a well-designed jersey that gets the details right – a streamlined fit with good length in the arms. I really like the reflective elements on front and back: perfect when you’re racing to beat the sunset home after a ride!
Sam: the merino-blend material comes into its own here – it feels warm but also really breathable, perfect for autumn riding.

Cara: a nice lightweight layering piece with a clean and simple design. Zipped access to the jersey pockets underneath is a useful touch.
Sam: a really handy layer, packs down nice and small into its own pocket and is water-resistant enough for light showers
