Adventure gear from the Himalayas
Founded in May 2003 by Tashi Sherpa, Sherpa Adventure Gear was established to honour and harness the heroism of the Sherpa guides of Everest, the companions who take adventurers from all over the world to summit the treacherous slopes of the Himalayas. The Sherpa plans the journey, carries provisions and sets the ropes en route.
Sherpa’s adventure gear is designed to incorporate the learnings of the Sherpa people from their experiences in extreme conditions. Sherpa aim to create innovative and technical clothing and accessories that the Sherpa would be proud to use themselves. Going hand-in-hand with this aim is Sherpa’s dedication to the improvement of the economic and social conditions of communities in Nepal.
