Winter is an exciting time for us here in SportPursuit HQ. We love the mountains and a lot of the team are keen skiers or snowboarders who love nothing more than fresh alpine air, crisp snow and the exhilarating feel of whizzing down the hill. So when offered the chance to strap on our skis and hit the slopes one evening after work, it was a no-brainer…

Hemel Hempstead’s Snow Centre may only be a short train and taxi ride away from our London HQ, but the anticipation of a snowy escape from the city still gave us a buzz of excitement. Kitted up in our ski gear and walking out on to the slope, clipping in and feeling the movement of our skis on real snow – it’s a special feeling.

The SportPursuit team have  been testing all sorts of #NewPursuits this winter, many of us hoping that Fitski sessions at Chel-Ski and spinning classes at Digme would get us in shape for the slopes. At The Snow Centre you can put that hard work into practice and give you legs some time to remember the motion and technique,  so you don’t have to worry about a sluggish first day on your ski trip. It’s also a great way for beginners to build confidence with helpful instructors in a controlled setting. For more advanced park style enthusiasts the Thursday night slopestyle sessions even throw in an exciting mix of rails and features to hone your skills.
