The Kit List: July 2019

As warm weather sweeps the UK we’re getting excited for a massive month of sport, as well as our own training and events to make the most of summer! Here’s what’s new in our world:

Break out the strawberries and cream…

That’s right, Wimbledon is here! Whether you’re a diehard tennis fan or just tuning in for the final, you can’t deny the spectacle and prestige of one of the finest tournaments in tennis. Especially with all of the iconic moments that the court has witnessed over the years.

#ZeroExcuses – hit your goals with Odlo

No matter what the conditions are, if you’ve got a goal in mind you need to be able to keep to your schedule and follow through with your training. It could be sunny enough for sunbathing or tipping down with rain – #ZeroExcuses means you just get out there and go for it!

Our #MyPursuit team have all had big goals this summer, from first-time marathons to epic trans-continental cycle races, so they know as much as anyone those common excuses that get in the way, and how to beat them! Number 1 tip from the team: put your kit out ready the night before an early start!

Relax As Hard As You Like

SportPursuit is teaming up with Neilson to help you make the best of your holiday. Everyone looks for unforgettable experiences these days, and that’s exactly what you’ll get on a Neilson holiday. You’ll have the freedom to try something from a huge range of inclusive activities in the mountains or by the coast so you can relax as hard as you like.

Allez Le Tour

The dream race of cyclists across the world, the Grand Tour of all Grand Tours, the 2019 Tour de France is sure to be an event of excitement, drama and spectacle. Who will wearing the yellow jersey this year? Cycling Weekly has a round up of who will win the Tour de France!

Feeling like a hot dog?

Sweating through summer and start moaning every time the sun comes out? Take a bit of inspiration from Cactus the MDS dog who happily braved the desert temperatures to join in with the Marathon de Sables earlier this year! Gives you paws for thought…
